Do you believe in miracles and blessings? I believe miracles and blessings happen often. There is a momentum to them. Confidence and an uplifted spirit happen when we experience blessings, especially the unexpected ones. This time of year affords us an opportunity to build on the spiritual momentum of celebrating the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection. Miracles happen all the time, but it is probably with the coming of spring that we are more receptive to their presence.

May brings us the reminders of the blessing of love with Mother’s Day, the blessing of our youth graduating, and the miracle of self-sacrifice on Memorial Day. Miracles and blessings are abounding at Joy as well. As you browse through our website and see the miracles and blessings that God gives to us, please know that it is the miracle of God’s love in Jesus Christ that fuels and drives who we are and what we do. I invite you to come and share in that miracle of God’s love that we celebrate at Joy Lutheran Church .

Children ages 3-kindergarden join us for a time of Children's Church directly following the Children's sermon during the 10:30 service. The kids will exit the worship center and go to the fellowship hall for a rotational experience of Story Time, Cooking, and Crafts. All are welcome!

Church Closure Due to Inclement Weather: Church activities planned during weekdays, with the exception of music, will be canceled if the Douglas County or Parker schools are closed. The individual music directors will contact their groups. Douglas County School closings due to inclement weather are announced over local radio and television stations between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00a.m. Cancellations of church services on the weekends will be announced on the church voice mail.
