Women of Joy

WOJ’s mission is to inspire and empower women to live their Christian faith through spiritual growth, fellowship and community service.

All women who attend Joy are members of Women of Joy (WOJ). WOJ is a member of Women of the ELCA, the women’s organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

The Women of Joy Board meets the first Sunday of each month at 11:45 am. All women who attend Joy are invited and encouraged to attend. Help plan and participate in new and exciting activities in the year ahead.

WOMEN'S CRISIS CENTER: The WOJ continue to support the Women's Crisis Center with our focus for February being donation of grocery store gift cards to the Center, as they experienced a flood on the lower floors over the holidays and lost most of their stored foodstuffs. They need help to build up a reserve again. Gift cards for food at local grocery stores, in any amount, will be most appreciated. There is a drop box in the office.

Itching 2 Stitch

Do you like needle art, quilting, cross stitch, knitting crocheting, tatting, rug making? Are you "Itching 2 Stitch? Join us on the first Saturday of the month from 9-2 pm in Fellowship Hall. Bring a sack lunch, your coffee cup and a snack, your latest project, any tools or supplies you will need and join us for fellowship and sharing.Saturday March 3. No child care provided. Joyful Creations Cardmaking
Join Joyful Creations cardmakers as we make greeting cards for the fund raising card racks. All supplies are provided. Everyone is welcome. We meet the first Thursday of the month and Friday afternoon following that. Next gathering will be:

Thursday, Mar. 1, 2012 from 6:30-8:30 pm

Friday, Mar. 2 from, 1:00-3:00 pm.

Our cards are "sold" in the Fellowship Hall to prvoide support for Joy's Crisis Relief Fund.

Scrapbooking

All Scrapbook enthusiasts are welcome. The scrapbooking group meets each month on the third Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The next scrapbooking session is will be Friday, February 17.
