Community Outreach
Inspired by the Biblical story of the Good Samaritan, Joy’s outreach in the community is accomplished throughout the year through support of various community projects:
- Parker Task Force
- Habitat for Humanity (HFH)
- Lutheran Family Services (LFS)
- Joshua Station
- Caring Association for Native Americans (CANA)
- Praying Hands Ranch
- Harrison Street School
- Adopt-a-Trail
- ELCA World Hunger

Joy is responsible for keeping clean a section of trail system in Parker. We work the second Saturday of the month starting at 8:30 a.m. Meet at the dog station east of the Parker Recreation Center, and wear boots & gloves. It takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to walk the trail, round-trip. Work dates: September 11 October 9 November 13 December 11 |
